I have a problem, I am an endorphin junkie. I have been running and feeling all of the positive effects of it for the past year, but I didn’t realize just how much it puts me in a great mood for the rest of the day. That hour (or sometimes two) almost every day really helps me become a better mother, wife, and human. I sound like an infomercial for running, but it’s really true for all forms of exercise. Do something you love on a regular basis, get addicted to it, then stop for a little while. You’ll see what I mean.
I have taken full advantage of taking it easy for this little break in training cycles. But, I think I took it a little too easy. I am such a grump! I need to get some miles in and get my sweat on! I never thought I would be that person that would ever write, or think, those words. Look at me now!
Anyway, just in case you too have taken a break from working out and find yourself grumpy, I know the cure (sorry, not chocolate this time) get out there and sweat!
